The Motorola DS4208 handheld corded omnidirectional LED barcode reader is black, comes with a USB cable, and can be used to scan and decode linear one-dimensional (1D), two-dimensional (2D), and Portable Doent Format 417 (PDF417) barcodes. An LED aimer produces lines of light in an omnidirectional pattern to scan barcodes on labels or cell phone screens at different angles. Motion tolerance helps limit errors while scanning and allows the user to scan objects while moving. The barcode reader's USB cable can be plugged into the USB port of a computer or another host system (sold separately) to transmit barcode data. The cable is shielded for protection. The barcode reader weighs 6.1 oz. and measures 6.7 x 2.7 x 3.7 inches (H x W x D). (H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point; W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.)
